U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Big Bear Lake Flotilla 11-12 presents a safe boating course each summer. This one day class teaches proper boat handling, local hazards, navigation rules, boating laws, safety equipment, boating problems, personal watercraft safety, trailering and more!
Each student is provided with a class textbook, handouts and 8 hours of class instruction time. A nationally recognized lifetime certificate of completion is issued upon successful completion of this course. Many insurance carriers offer a discount to certificate holders.
